Our "Marble" Kitchen Remodel - White, Bright, and Airy

I am so, so excited because today I am showing our updated kitchen! We (and by we, I mean my husband, haha!) painted the cabinets, added hardware, changed the laminate counters to quartz, got a new sink and faucet, and tiled a backsplash. The only thing I did was paint our pantry door... And my husband rolled his eyes at my choice of color. :)

All the details and links are at the bottom of the post!

After:

Before:
It was just so drab and brown.

We cut down this bar top behind the sink to create a HUGE slab/peninsula to sit at. It is one of the best upgrades we made!! AND it was my idea. My husband rarely goes along with my ideas.

Another before shot... The other thing that had to go was this ugly chandelier light.

These gold and white lights make so much more sense in the space!
You can shop them HERE.
You can kind of see in the top right hand corner the similar light we installed in the entry.

Check out the cool gold accent in the window. Such a clever idea of my husband's to tile a window.
The gold faucet is one of my very favorite touches of the space!

The final touch for my perfect kitchen?
A pink pantry door!

All the Details:

Tile: Marble Look ceramic subway tile from Menards

Counters: MSI Calacatta Venice

Gold Hardware

Gold Faucet:

Paint:
Cabinets: Behr Cathedral Grey and Behr Bright White
Pantry: Behr Cupcake Pink (I'm fairly certain. I painted it a few colors trying to get the perfect shade, so it might be accidentally custom!)

Lighting: Sculptural Glass 3-Light Faceted Chandelier

I am so happy with the finished look. My husband did everything except install the counters, and that saved us a bunch of money on the redo. I'm so proud of him and his work.

What's your favorite part?
xoxo, Love.Haight
