Metallics Week: Golden Girl

When I was growing up, gold was ugly. Only grandmas wore gold. Silver jewelry was all the rage. Now, I definitely prefer gold to silver!

Gold metallic skirt courtesy of my sister-in-law! I admired it during our murder mystery party, (she was a pretty awesome hero with purple hair and a pink mask!) and she threw it in my bag before we left Idaho. Score.

Remember the bag? That was also a freebie from my mother-in-law. Wow I sound like a freeloader!

The black peplum was an old Express find. I'm surprised it fits to be honest.

The gold earrings are definitely a statement piece! I found these babies at TJ Maxx in high school!! Guess I had good style even then... haha I kid, I kid!

The curly hair... Uh c/o God. I thought it added to the vibes of the outfit.

That's not all though! I have a second and more relaxed gold outfit for y'all. The above outfit was for fun, I realize none of us are wearing that to work. Unless you're a rockstar. In that case, carry on.

This gold sequin tank is a mixture of textures and colors! Throw it on with some simple jean shorts and you're *ahem* "golden."

Sometimes I do weird stuff. and then I giggle... well laugh obnoxiously- but giggle sounds cuter. See next photo.

I think this was after I whipped myself in the face with those earrings.
