A Curly Girl's Holy Grail Hair Product Guide

Curly hair is not for the faint of heart. It can be beyond challenging to find what works for your hair and your specific curl. Researching is just crazy, and I hate looking at sites that are supposed to help, when really they are just hocking their own products. So I thought... why not write my own? I've been wrestling with this mane for 15 years... ever since I was about 13 and the curls went wild.

Without further Ado my holy grail products and a general guide to what should be in your product line up!

1.  A Deep Conditioner (Hands Down The number 1 Thing I would Recommend!)

This is my number one holy grail product. It smells amazing and is so thick. It's pricier, but I just use it once or twice a week to really deep condition my hair.
       

2. Air Dry Cream:
I am SO not into blowdryers. Nope, never, uh-uh, not happening. This awesome air dry cream was given to me by my friend who sells Monat! It definitely gave some life to my curls and tamed some frizz. I highly recommend it.

4. Mousse
Yeah... it feels 80s and old school and weird. But just trust me if you have thick hair you want this stuff. Tresemme is SO good.
       

5. "Dry Shampoo"
Here's a hint... It's not really dry at all. Not for us curly girls! I'm sure you've heard all the jokes about moms "running on coffee and dry shampoo." A waterless foam "shampoo" is much better for us than a spray. Tresemme used to make a good one, but I could only find this online.
       

6. Oils
I love using oil in my hair to tame the frizz and flyaways!
