Vegas Trip Photo Journal

We had a blast on our recent Vegas trip. We didn't want to spend a lot of money- and turns out it is pretty easy to have a great time for cheap!

Free Sights

1. The canals at the Venetian: 

If you're dying to get on a gondola, you can pay 30 dollars and wait in a massive line. I've canoed and kayaked my whole life, so I was happy just to see it. The Inside is pretty cool to just look around and pretend you're in Italy.

2. The Chihuly glass in the Bellagio:
You can see all the glass for free in their lobby area. They change the exhibit for the seasons- it was fall themed when we were there!

3. The fountains at the Bellagio:

Why wouldn't you want to see this free spectacle? The song was "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" when we watched, and I loved it! 

Food

We had never tried In n Out before. It was alright- not my favorite fast food ever, but the prices were good and the service was truly superb. 

Macarons at the Venetian- at 3 dollar a pop, these babies weren't cheap, but man they were good!

Rainbow lattes at Sambalatte: Our barista got a little crazy with the design, but the fun colors look awesome! It is a little strange once you stir it though! ;)

Shopping

There are, of course, many expensive shops along the strip. I definitely popped inside to just see what they were like, but I found some treasures at cheaper places. :)

Gambling

For once, my husband actually ended up in the black at the casinos. We always take the mentality that you are paying for entertainment, and probably won't win, so we set a budget. Normally we spend the money we bring and are done with it, but this time he kept winning, and so it ended up being a very cheap trip!
