Mixing Outfits- Bold + Soft

There is an art to putting outfits together.
When you want to stand out from the crowd, sometimes you have to go bold... like this skirt below.

The white and blue stripes are very bold, and the shape (I believe they call it a bubble skirt) definitely makes it stand out from the crowd. 

Pairing it with a soft blush shirt tones it down with some sweetness.

The matching blush shoes ties the whole thing into an outfit by balancing out the soft color around the bold piece. 

With that addition - the outfit seems very intentional - and therefore makes it "work."

Accessories are an important final step. They should compliment what you've put together- not compete- you already have a statement piece! I chose a rose gold stack- but some navy pieces would have been great too. 

MOST IMPORTANTLY: You have to ROCK the look. Having confidence is the most important part of putting killer outfits together that don't look like everyone else.
