Movie ReviewsThis week I realized I'd been to a couple of movies lately! Figured it might be fun to give you my thoughts on each in case you wanted to see any of them! As a teacher, I have to be a grader. :)
Captain America: Civil War - A
I really liked this movie. I think that they did something with the Avengers that really hadn't been done yet, and showed a new side to a lot of them. My favorite scene was definitely the "new kid" who was talking too much during the fight. Totally my spirit animal
The Huntsmen - B
I actually enjoyed this movie quite a bit. There is some action for the guys, some humor for sure, and even a bit of a love story to enjoy throughout the film. The end has some twisty bits, which is awesome.
X-Men: Apocolypse - B
I love the X-men and so it's hard for them to screw this up for me. While I didn't enjoy it as much as Days of Future Past, I thought it was still really interesting to watch. People who know more about the series thought it had some flaws and major plot holes that were a disconnect. But if you are like me and don't really know that much of the backstory then I think you would enjoy it!
Sisters - D
What the?! I'm sorry but who made this movie? I like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and this movie was such a flop in my opinion. Very few funny parts. At one point the movie stopped working and I realized I didn't care if I didn't' find out how it ended - which is really rare for me, usually it would bother me.
Blog ThoughtsI'm at a strange place with my blog, where I have more posts photographed and ready to go than I do days to post them. Normally I'm scrambling to have anything at all. Must be because my Master's is on hiatus for a few weeks until the summer session begins.
I find myself having almost too much time to think about my blog, because at the end of the day, I don't know anything about coding, website design, engagement or aesthetic on social media. I try out new things that may work for a minute or two, but my blog inevitably ends up back where it was before. I keep telling myself that people quit all the time, and that perhaps it is not quitting, that will get me where I want to be and learn what I need and want to learn.
The biggest thing for me is I don't like my website design- if anyone has (or knows of) a post about learning about design, I would be so so grateful if you linked it in the comments!
Thanks for coming by and reading!
