My Engagement Story + a Valentine's Gift idea : Frame your Love, Love your Frame!

Stuck for Valentine's Day? Well join the club. But this year I've got your back for a unique gift that is romantic and yet practical enough that it can stick around in your house year round.
Framebridge has a limited time frame called the heartagram. There are many options for the frame color, including a special edition red frame. For only $39 dollars it's pretty amazing quality. I had gotten some frames from them before and was extremely impressed. Check that post out HERE.

I decided to frame a photo from the day my husband and I got engaged. It's not the best quality photo, since my dad was creeping on us from afar, but I still love the shot. (#becauseduh) Since I included my ring, the box, and my engagement letter I figured I might as well share my engagement story.

The day I got engaged, I knew my husband had asked my dad for his blessing that morning. That actually threw me off the scent.  I never would have thought it would happen on that day.
My ring arrived in the mail that morning in a town 3 hours away. My cousin was driving through on the way to Denver, so she dropped off the ring. We were at a movie and he "went to the bathroom" and got it from them unbeknownst to me. When we got home he mentioned he had written me a letter earlier that week (we were a distance couple) and said it should probably be there that day. I had been asking for a letter for weeks so I was really excited. However I was so oblivious to what was happening. He asked me to read it out loud, and I still had NO CLUE. The letter was the sweetest thing ever, and I still love to get it out and read it. At the PS he asked me to direct my attention to the man on one knee beside me. It was the best moment of my life.
If you're single on this "single awareness day" you might like reading one of my favorite blog posts I've ever written. It's all about waiting for the one. You can read that one HERE :)

Thank you to Framebridge for providing this super cute frame for me to review.
All opinions are my own. :)

xoxo,
Victoria
